Nectarine does not offer logo label design and printing services. For your convenience, we offer generic back ingredient labels that are printed in black on clear label stock, and that describe the product and show its FDA required ingredient listing. You may chose to use these on the back of your packaging, or to design your own.

FDA & Cosmetic Label Requirements
All bath and body care labels must comply with the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) requirements. The FDA's website (www.fda.gov) offers a really helpful cosmetic label manual that explains their requirements in details.

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) regulates the term "organic" and oversees all organic labels including those for the cosmetics industry. Before designing and writing your copy for your organic bath and body care labels, read their guidelines carefully to comply with US regulations.

They also have an easy to use design wizard if you prefer to put together your label that way. And you get to print your labels to your own inkjet and/or laser printer. We suggest using their waterproof label stock as the ink won't smear if it gets wet.

If you are going to have your label professional designed and are going to be printing more than 4 colors, this short run label printer has experience printing for the bath and body care industry and does not have huge minimums. Talk to them about their suggested label stock for bath and body care products (to prevent ink and/or label paper from being damaged when used in the shower or bath.) We recommend always getting a proof before going to press to catch any typos or errors before it's too late.
